Ms. Çakır
Taught environmental science at Westbrook Academy
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- 2010 to 2022
- English, Turkish
I taught environmental science and Spanish at Westbrook Academy, Istanbul. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
