Ms. Butler
Music and special education teacher, Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Technical College
- 2003 to 2016
- English
I taught music at Oakland Technical College in Oakland from 2003 to 2016. Most days I taught primary school children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Ms. Butler
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me music in 2010 at Oakland Technical College. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly! Thank you again.
