I taught French and religious studies at Newcastle upon Tyne Academy, Newcastle upon Tyne. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Burke
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Burke: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
