I taught statistics at Brookfield High School in Hialeah from 1984 to 2008. Most days I taught first-year students, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 1,300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
