I teach social studies at Unity High School in Ankara since 1982. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,640 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Bulut: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
