I taught physics at Unity Grammar School in Hồ Chí Minh City from 1981 to 2017. Most days I taught Year 9, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 1,910 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
