Ms. Bowman
Statistics and chemistry teacher, Houston

- 1982 to 2011

I taught statistics and chemistry at St. Joseph's Secondary School, Houston. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Bowman
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Bowman: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
