I taught physical education at Phoenix Boys' School in Porto Alegre from 1982 to 2015. Most days I taught teenagers, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
