Ms. Booker
Geography teacher at Chicago High School, 1999 to 2017
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago High School
- 1999 to 2017
- English
For 18 years I was the geography teacher at Chicago High School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Booker
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Booker: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

You taught me geography in 2016 at Chicago High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.

You taught me geography in 2004 at Chicago High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Thank you again.
