I taught physical education at Lotus Boys' School in Mohammedia from 1987 to 1995. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
