I taught home economics at Hillcrest Boys' School in Iloilo City from 1981 to 1989. Most days I taught primary school children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
