I teach home economics at Maringá Academy in Maringá since 1980. Most days I teach Year 7, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I've had 2,480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Bastos: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
