For 18 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Juiz de Fora Girls' School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
What gifts mean to Ms. Bastos: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
