13 years teaching religious studies in São Paulo
- 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
- Elmwood Middle School
- Since 1995

I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Ms. Bastos
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Bastos: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me religious studies in 2004 at Elmwood Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
