Ms. Barros
Home economics and economics teacher, Niterói
- 🇧🇷 Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Niterói Technical College
- Since 1987
- English, Portuguese
Niterói Technical College is my second home. I teach home economics there since 1987, mostly first-year students.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Barros
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Barros: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
