Los Angeles Secondary School is my second home. I teach English literature there since 1981, mostly the final-year class.
Over the years I've had 2,480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Barnes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Barnes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
