Ms. Barbosa
Social studies and mathematics teacher, Juiz de Fora
- 🇧🇷 Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- Rosewood Secondary School
- 1985 to 2015
- Portuguese, English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
More about Ms. Barbosa
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Barbosa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
