Ms. Barasa
Spanish and French teacher, Likoni
- 🇰🇪 Likoni, Mombasa, Kenya
- Good Shepherd Middle School
- 1990 to 2012
- English, Swahili
For 22 years I was the Spanish teacher at Good Shepherd Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 860 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Barasa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
