Ms. Bandara
16 years teaching early years in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Brookfield High School
- Since 1980
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 46 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Bandara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Bandara: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
