I teach French at Lagos Grammar School in Lagos since 1985. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,130 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Balogun: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
