Ms. Balakrishnan
30 years teaching social studies in Howrah
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
- Howrah Technical College
- Since 1984
- English, Telugu
I teach social studies at Howrah Technical College in Howrah since 1984. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 1,340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Balakrishnan
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me social studies in 1989 at Howrah Technical College. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Thank you again.

You taught me social studies in 2013 at Howrah Technical College. I still remember the long bus ride home.
