For ten years I was the design and technology teacher at Mwanza Public School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
