Ms. Ávila

31 years teaching statistics in Tehuacán

🇲🇽 Tehuacán, Puebla, Mexico
Tehuacán Grammar School
1983 to 2007
Spanish

For 24 years I was the statistics teacher at Tehuacán Grammar School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Ms. Ávila

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
