Ms. Ávila
33 years teaching early years in Philadelphia
- 🇺🇸 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
- Hillcrest High School
- 1996 to 2007
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ávila: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
