I taught French at Ottawa Secondary School in Ottawa from 1985 to 2013. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Ms. Austin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Austin: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
