For 16 years I was the physics teacher at Bakersfield Middle School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Ms. Austin
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
What gifts mean to Ms. Austin: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
