For 13 years I was the social studies teacher at Kakamega High School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Athumani
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Athumani: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
