I teach music at Gaziantep Middle School in Gaziantep since 1981. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 860 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Aslan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Aslan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me music in 2012 at Gaziantep Middle School. I still remember that terrible school play
