I teach economics at Istanbul High School in Istanbul since 1991. Most days I teach Year 10, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Ms. Arslan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me economics in 2000 at Istanbul High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly!
