I taught agriculture at Beacon Primary School in Puebla from 1986 to 2004. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Arias
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
