I taught music at St. Mary's Middle School in Iloilo City from 2009 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Ms. Aquino
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
