I teach mathematics at Kobe Middle School in Kobe since 1983. Most days I teach Year 10, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Aoki
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Aoki: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
