I taught Spanish at Tamale Grammar School in Tamale from 2007 to 2022. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
