Ms. Ando
Special education and French teacher, Kitakyushu
- 🇯🇵 Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan
- Elmwood Technical College
- Since 1986
- Japanese, French
For 40 years I have been the special education teacher at Elmwood Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Ando
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ando: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
