Ms. Amaral
Geography and agriculture teacher, Ribeirão Preto
- 🇧🇷 Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil
- Mount Pleasant High School
- 1998 to 2006
- Portuguese
I taught geography at Mount Pleasant High School in Ribeirão Preto from 1998 to 2006. Most days I taught teenagers, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Amaral
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
