For 25 years I have been the art teacher at Redwood Boys' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Ms. Alvarez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
