20 years teaching biology in Çankaya

For 17 years I have been the biology teacher at Çankaya Grammar School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Altun
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Altun: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me biology in 2025 at Çankaya Grammar School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped. Truly.
