I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Almeida: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
