I taught mathematics at Porto Alegre Primary School in Porto Alegre from 2016 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 410 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Almeida
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Almeida: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
