I taught statistics at Sakura Secondary School in Dhaka from 1989 to 2015. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
