25 years teaching computer science in Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Bamboo Secondary School
- 1984 to 1995
- English
For eleven years I was the computer science teacher at Bamboo Secondary School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You taught me computer science in 1984 at Bamboo Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
