I teach history and art at Mount Pleasant Technical College, Addis Ababa. I never turn anyone away. I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Alemu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
