Ms. Alcantara
French and environmental science teacher, Makati
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Valley View High School
- 1991 to 2004
- English, Filipino
I taught French at Valley View High School in Makati from 1991 to 2004. Most days I taught primary school children, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Alcantara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Alcantara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
