For nine years I have been the statistics teacher at Hillcrest Academy. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Alcantara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Alcantara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me statistics in 2022 at Hillcrest Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

You taught me statistics in 2020 at Hillcrest Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard!
