Ms. Alcantara
French and biology teacher, Makati
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Redwood Middle School
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I taught French at Redwood Middle School in Makati from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Alcantara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Alcantara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me French in 2021 at Redwood Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
