For 20 years I have been the special education teacher at Frangipani Grammar School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Alam
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
