Ms. Alam
Physics and chemistry teacher, Gazipur
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Crescent Girls' School
- Since 1978
- English
I teach physics at Crescent Girls' School in Gazipur since 1978. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Alam
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Alam: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physics in 1982 at Crescent Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
