For 46 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Eastgate Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,470 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Ms. Aksoy: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me mathematics in 2015 at Eastgate Grammar School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
