Ms. Akinwale
Teacher at Oakwood Technical College, loves history
- 🇳🇬 Bonny, Rivers, Nigeria
- Oakwood Technical College
- 2000 to 2019
- English, Yoruba, French
I taught history at Oakwood Technical College in Bonny from 2000 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Akinwale
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Akinwale: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
