Ms. Acosta
Chemistry and early years teacher, Cartagena
- 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
- Elmwood Academy
- Since 1983
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 43 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

You taught me chemistry in 1994 at Elmwood Academy. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam

I was in your primary school children class in 1993. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.
